Transfer Station
The Patrick County Transfer Station's main goal is to ensure the safe and quick reception of the county's solid waste and recycling needs of the Patrick County Citizens. We are committed to:

The Patrick County Transfer Station makes solid waste collection more efficient and reduces overall transportation costs, air emissions, energy use, truck traffic, and road wear and tear. This saves you and our community money, as well as lowers the cost of your solid waste management services. If at any time, you have any questions or concerns, please ask one of our professional transfer station operators and they will be glad to assist you.
Responsibilities
The Patrick County Transfer Station accepts waste from residents, businesses, organizations, and solid waste haulers and ships it to out-of-area landfills. The Transfer Station also accepts recyclables for appropriate transfer out of the area.
Tipping Fees
All commercial waste must be weighed. $69.25 per ton (prices subject to change), commercial, industrial, and construction. $135 per ton on tires.

2025 Commercial Solid Waste License Application
According to the Solid Waste Disposal Ordinance, any person engaged in the business of solid waste collection or disposal must possess a valid County license. Please complete the application and file with County Administration.

There will be an annual interest of 10% (0.83% per month) on past due Transfer Station credit balances made on/after July 1, 2025, which are unpaid after 30 days of the statement date.
