2021 Code Change

The 2021 Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) took effect January 18, 2024. Permit applications submitted after January 18, 2025 must comply with the 2021 Virginia USBC.   To view the significant changes please click here.

Building Permits

Permits are payable by cash, check or card (please note that a 3% convenience fee is added when using a card). Please make checks payable to "Treasurer Patrick County".

Land-Disturbance/Grading Permits
