Business & Resources amid COVID-19

The presence of the Coronavirus in the Commonwealth of Virginia has undoubtedly changed operations from "business as usual". The Governor's Declaration for economic assistance through the Small Business Administration (SBA) has opened up Patrick County businesses to low-interest federal loans through the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. For any business that may be interested, information can be found at: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance

Online business that advertise and gain followers through online media may also be interested in a Facebook Small Business Grants Program at: https://www.facebook.com/business/boost/grants

At this time, there has been no indication that funding will be made available to the local governments to help business out; however, we do hope and continue to be vigilant towards the economy at hand. To help Patrick County and the Economic Development Authority better prepare for the needs of our community, I ask that anyone with immediate needs to please comment in the Google Form at: https://forms.gle/kLogPnBg7VTEEEaLA
