Transfer Station
The Patrick County Transfer Station accepts waste from the public and ships it to out of area landfills. The Transfer Station also accepts recyclables for appropriate transfer out of area.

Transfer Station Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00 until 5:00pm, weigh-ins will be accepted until 4:30pm.

Saturday 8:00 until 1:00pm, weigh-ins will be accepted until 12:30pm.

The Transfer Station is closed on State Holidays. Please call the Transfer Station for a listing of those dates and times.
Transfer Station - Tipping Fees

All commercial and any other solid waste, besides kitchen and bath waste must be weighed. $65 per ton (prices subject to change) commercial, industrial, construction, and general clean-up (basement, outbuildings, etc.) $130 per ton on tires.
Transfer Station - Chargeable Goods

Acceptable Waste - household (kitchen trash), scrap metal

Unacceptable Waste - yard debris/tree trimmings, liquid paint, hazardous materials, burn debris, large drums that are not empty, asbestos containing materials, large animal carcasses.
Transfer Station - Recycling

Recyclables: cardboard, 1 & 2 plastics, newspapers, magazines, office paper, used motor oil, antifreeze, metal and aluminum cans, scrap metal. No glass.
