Announcing **VDH's Septic and Well Assistance Program (SWAP)**

Do you have a failing well or septic system? You may qualify to have your private well and sewer fixed for free. If you have a house with a well or septic system that needs to be fixed, and your income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, the Virginia Department of Health can cover the cost through its Septic and Well Assistance Program.

Costs to abandon your failing well or septic and connect to a PSA water or sewer line are also eligible for funding under this program.

Program and application details are available here SWAP Grant Program
